You may have been tasked with the job of producing or managing the creation of a range of printed material. Whether from a design, administration or purchasing background, the appreciation of a few ground rules for the design of print based material will give you a foundation to work from.

Our Design and Layout training course is run as a bespoke course, giving you the opportunity to tailor the course to your exact requirements. To provide a start point, we'd recommend you use the suggested course outline as a guide.

Perhaps you're new to the role of producing or managing the creation of a range of print based material. The aim of this course is to introduce you to a few design ground rules - making those first few jobs that much easier. Gain an understanding of the design process, the principles behind effective layout, the importance of typography, the role of colour and methods of output.
