Maximise your student's achievement in the controlled assessment task
Adobe Dreamweaver, Fireworks or Photoshop are all suitable tools for the creation of material to meet the specified delivery requirements for Units 2 and/or Unit 4 of the Edexcel GCSE in ICT. At a minimum, we'd suggest that Dreamweaver should be used inconjunction with either Fireworks or Photoshop. A single tool will not complete the job - just like a professional design environment - an effective solution requires the blending of techniques and features from a host of diiferent programs.
Symbiosis have developed a series of dedicated teacher training courses to support the new Edexcel GCSE in ICT. Using the course syllabus as our start, the courses have been developed with the approval of Edexcel and follow on from our previous involvement with the Edexcel DiDA courses.
Our Edexcel GCSE in ICT training courses are run as bespoke courses, giving you the opportunity to attend the courses at a date to suit. To provide a start point, we'd recommend you use one of the suggested course outlines as a guide.
